Bro. Derrick Kitchens joins us for our annual meeting and starts a mini series entitled “Do You Know Him?” asking us how well we actually know our savior and encouraging us to study harder to really dive deep into who our God is. Tonight’s focus is on God as our Bread of Life.
Bro John expounds on Jude verse 4, which exhorts the church to be wary of false teachings in the church, and to become familiar and comfortable with the truth of God’s word.
Bro. John continues in Philippians chapter four with a message on the importance of the church being diligent in our search for opportunities to assist those around us, starting with others in the church and working our way into the community.
Bro. Vince visits us from New Providence Primitive Baptist Church in Cameron, Texas and blesses us with a message on what it means to be a disciple of Christ and to be an advocate for his teachings.
Bro. John continues our journey through the book of Genesis with an overview of Chapter 2. He discusses the differences between the two creation accounts and how the version in chapter 2 is essentially from man’s perspective.
Bro. Tommy takes us back to Genesis Chapter 15 to focus on Abram and God’s promises to Abram. He illustrates that in Abram’s life and his descendants lives God always fulfilled his promises though not always in the timeframe they would’ve preferred but it was always the right time.
Bro. John takes us to Isaiah to recount prophecies of the coming Messiah before going over what we know of the early years of Christ’s life.
