Bro. John returns to Genesis for the story of Hagar. Through the story he illustrates how things can go awry when we try to make God work within our framework. He then discusses how God was with Hagar.
Bro. Derrick continues with us during our annual meeting and speaks to us about God as the Prince of Peace and the sacrifices he made to make peace between God and Man.
We return once more to the Book of Genesis as Bro. John brings us to the story of the Flood. We view Noah in contrast to those around him and the importance of his walk with God.
Elder John speaks on what the scripture says about church governance, the role of elders, deacons, and the congregation.
Bro. John’s study in Genesis comes to chapter three and the fall of Adam and Eve. He discusses the death in the garden as being a separation from God. Bro. Tommy dives deeper into the concept of sin being a lie Satan tells us and exhorts us not to believe the lie.
Bro John continues in Jude, which reminds us of the dangers of unbelief and rebellion against God presented in the Old Testament.
